A-MAZ-ING, then I almost suggest taking it out completely. ![]() Unless the next tomb raider can somehow design a combat system that is amazing, like. I literally wanted combat reduced by like 95% it is that bad. ![]() It felt sloppy, evading and shooting is a terrible affair, the camera starts freaking out as you are locked on to an enemy, but you can't see the enemy, as the game engine is trying to stay on Lara bouncing around. Tomb Raider: Underworld 1 Heckler & Koch USP Match 2 IMI Uzi 3 Colt Model 727 4 Norinco Type 56 5 FN TPS 6 Spear gun 7 Tranquilizer gun 8 Sticky grenade. I can't count the number of times I freaked out as I was on a ledge, and couldn't see where to go next, so I gathered I was to take a leap of faith in the game, only to find my deduction like two inches off. If they want to reach every console owning gamer under the sun, take care with each version. You know what I take this as? A product suffering because of multiple ports. OH LORD, this, and the camera have seriously impeached my love for Lara. Make the game all cohesive, not cartoon-y Lara vs. If they want to retain a cartoon-y look, have continuity. Seriously, after all these games, she still has the same nose as in the first playsation game, which to PSOne's credit was all they could render at the time. It seems detracting to have realistic movements placed over a character playing in realistic environments, but possessing the face of a Brats doll. ![]() However, after SO many iterations of this game, I want to see a realistic Lara. Seeing as how Tomb Raider has evolved, they got one step right. So the story is intriguing, the environments gorgeous and the soundtrack beautiful. Because not since Angel of Darkness has Lara re-discovered her ability to phase through solid objects, and get stuck on the smallest twig, stuck enough to make you wander what happened to quality control. Because Tomb Raider deserves everything they promised sans the glitches and horrible collision detection. Because crystal dynamics is more capable than this. Am I about to tear into this game given the fact I gave it a 5 out of 10? You bet your adventure seeking a$$es I am.

Before there were surprise performances or highly produced video montages, WWDC was a much simpler thing. As for now, only invited people can preview what’s next on the HomePod, but homeOS could open up more traditional beta testing for both platforms and enable developers to easily create for the HomePod.Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) wasn’t always a three-ring circus. And what software could benefit from it? homeOS!Īnother path homeOS could open is the possibility of all developers starting testing the HomePod operating system. The device would offer the kind of features users would expect from an Apple TV box - like access to video streaming apps and games console - as well as HomePod-esque smart speaker features and a camera for smart home security and living room FaceTime. In April, for example, a Bloomberg report said Apple was working on a new smart home product: a major evolution of an Apple TV set-top box that integrates a smart speaker and camera hardware. As people start to connect their houses with more devices, as for now, the HomePod mini and Apple TV could be the hub for all things connected. Naming software as homeOS would give Apple more room to create a better home ecosystem. Not much for a whole operating system, right? And if you think about all the things Apple recently introduced for the platform, I can only think about two: multi-users and gaming controllers support. With the original HomePod discontinued and most of the Apple TV features being available on Smart TVs, such as AirPlay, the Apple TV app, and Apple Music, having a tvOS doesn’t make sense anymore.Īt past WWDCs, for example, Apple barely talked about tvOS. Since tvOS is made for the Apple TV and HomePod, it would make sense for the company to choose another path with a “home operating system” rather than a TV OS. It would be the perfect time for Apple to introduce a brand new software - or a rebranded one. Although the reference is now gone and replaced by tvOS and HomePod, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if Apple has plans to rename tvOS to homeOS during WWDC 2021 - here’s why.Īpple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is just a few days away.
